PEMBROKE – Peter Tedeschi, former President and CEO of Tedeschi Food Shops and candidate to represent the 9th Congressional District of Massachusetts, is drawing a contrast between his experience in the private sector, and the experience of Congressman Bill Keating, who has been in office 41 years.
“Bill Keating is a career politician who has held office for over four decades. He has contributed to the growing partisan divide in this country that serves special interest groups rather than the American people.” says Peter Tedeschi. “Meanwhile, my career has been in serving this region while balancing my company’s budgets and making payroll for my employees. Our Congress has been fractured by partisanship and it’s time for new leaders and new ideas.”
Representative Bill Keating has represented Massachusetts for four terms in Congress and is seeking a fifth term if reelected. Peter Tedeschi has signed the U.S. Term Limits pledge to serve no more than three terms as a House member in Congress, if elected. Prior to his tenure as a Congressman, Bill Keating was elected to public offices of District Attorney, State Senator, and State Representative. He was first elected to public office in 1977.
