Peter Tedeschi named “CONTENDER” by the NRCC

Designation tags Tedeschi as a top Republican challenger to watch nationwide

PEMBROKE – Peter Tedeschi, candidate to represent the 9th Congressional District of Massachusetts, has been added to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC)’s Young Guns “Contenders” phase – the second tier of the Young Guns program. The move comes on the heels of Tedeschi outraising incumbent Democrat, Representative Bill Keating, in Q2 of 2018.

“As our campaign to return accountable representation to the Ninth District continues to gain momentum, we are grateful to receive this recognition,” says Peter Tedeschi. “The response we are getting from the 46 communities here has been a resounding desire for change and results. This support from the NRCC will help us get to Washington and accomplish that.”

In a statement released by the NRCC, Chairman Steve Stivers says, “I’m thrilled to welcome Peter Tedeschi to the second tier of our Young Guns program. Peter has spent decades growing businesses and creating jobs, and his private sector experience will make him an important addition to our Republican majority in Congress.”

Tedeschi is one of just 21 candidates to reach the “Contender” status nationwide for the 2018 cycle.
